  Dr. Maria Highsmith is incredibly professional, courteous, helpful and puts you at ease. I had had a very bad experience with the other doctor at that practice, Dr. Osborne, a few months prior. (He'd done a shoddy job on toenail repair that left me in excruciating pain for a week longer than it should have, didn't adequately let me know how to care for the toes, and was generally grumpy the whole time.) Dr. (Mrs.) Highsmith was the complete opposite. The operation was completely painless, she was very kind, and made sure I had printed instructions and knew how I was supposed to care for my foot after the surgery. Answered all my questions and was fast, while still doing a good job. Would recommend her to anyone.
